The Tel Aviv Rubin Museum

When the famous Israeli painter Reuven Rubin had passed away in 1972, his house, as well as 45 of his paintings, were donated to the Tel-Aviv municipality.

In 1983, as part of the program for preservation of buildings from the city’s early days, the Tel-Aviv municipality decided to reconstruct and restore the painter’s house, turning it into a museum, presenting the work of Rubin and other artists of his time.
