AY Sewage Line

The Ayalon Sewage Pipeline Project (AY Line) was part of the program to upgrade the Tel-Aviv Metropolis sewage pipelines.

The 8 kilometer long pipeline was installed under the Ayalon Highway, from the Yarkon River in the north, to the Darom Park in the south, using the pipe jacking method.

The line runs along the margins of the Ayalon Highway in substantial depth, and include 16 jacking shafts, which were also located alongside the highway.

The Ayalon Pumping Station in Park Darom was constructed in this project as well.
Project scope: approximately NIS 500 million ($140 million), during the years 2009-2013.
