Ha’Yarkon Park

In an attempt to improve the Tel-Aviv metropolis green lung, a decision was made to improve the Yarkon Park in the north of Tel-Aviv, 3,000,000 square meters in area, by adding unique gardens with touristic value.

The following gardens were developed:

The Tropical Garden
A beautiful garden, which spreads across some 20,000 square meters, with rich tropical greenery, one of Israel’s biggest orchard greenhouses, ponds for fish, water birds and water plants, and a tropical plant gardening nursery.
The Stone Garden
The Stone Garden, which spreads across an area of 40,000 square meters, presents stones from all over Israel, from north to south. Among the stones there are hundreds of kinds of Israeli plants, from all over the country.
The Cactus Garden
The garden spreads over 30,000 square meters, with a rich population of cactuses and succulents from all over the world, about 55,000 plants. This area is designated especially to East and South Africa vegetation.
In addition, a bird garden and a small lake with boats were built as well.
